Lechlade is superbly situated for access to the Cotswolds, Cirencester, Cheltenham and Oxford. Peacefully set at the end of a short footpath and hidden away from the road and passers-by is this old Cotswold stone cottage, part of which is thought to date back to the 1500s: it is in a conservation area in the heart of this historic village. Conveniently within 200 yards of the village shops, pubs, restaurants and the river and there are picturesque walks from the cottage by the river and to the nearby wildlife reserve.
