Duckery Cottage is centrally located in the lovely South Hams village of Torcross. Famous for the WWII operation Tiger the village occupies a unique position at one end of a shingle bank in Stait Bay, known as Slapton Sands. From the balcony of the cottage enjoy stunning views over Slapton ley, the National Nature Reserve and Bird sanctuary, to the countryside beyond. Torcross is on the south Devon Coastal path and offers a starting point for numerous walks allowing enjoyment of some magnificent scenery.
