Norchard is on a lane that has no through traffic. Surrounded by 2000 acres of National Trust estate with 20 miles of footpaths, it commands a beautiful view across fields to the Golden Cap, the highest hill on the Channel. The sea is half a mile away and the coast is unspoilt. Bathing and walking are there for on your doorstep. Riding is easily available. Lyme Regis, 6 miles to the west, offers sea excursions in summer as does West Bay, 6 miles to the west, where there are two very good fish restaurants.
