Tiny character stone cottage in the conservation area of Richmond, the historic market town in Swaledale. Formerly part of a Penfold, being converted to a dwelling in 1986. Set in a cobbled yard and having its own parking space. Just a short walk to the many shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms as well as the River Swale and Richmond Castle. A few minutes car ride away is the scenic Dales National Park. Altogether an excellent base from which to tour the Dales. Sofa bed available or bring a travel cot or zbed for a child.
