Alma Cottage has a great character and is of the highest quality - ETC 4 stars. Dating back to the 18th Century, it has low beamed ceilings and stone stairs, but a high standard of modern comforts. In winter the cast-iron stove is a cosy addition to the central heating, while in summer the south-facing stone-walled garden is a real sun trap. The village of Kirkby Malzeard is a friendly one, and guests particularly like our local pub, the Henry Jenkins, and the high-class butcher across the road.
